Welcome to the Peach Playdate

May 18, 2021 · In: Playdates

Hi all! Welcome to my first TPP blog post. If you’re reading this you probably found me through The Peach Playdate Facebook or Peanut group. I’m so glad you made your way to the blog! Below are a few things you can expect to see on my blog. I will continue to post briefly on Facebook & Peanut but here (and Instagram) is where you will find the fun stuff.

The Blog is broken out into three section; Shop, Playdates and Lifestyle. Here’s what you’ll find under each category –

Shop

The Peach Playdate shop will have our signature peach hats and t-shirt for sale. I’m thinking of adding more products like a peach sticker, peach color hair accessories and possibly some peach/sage color outfits. Is this something you’d be interested in buying? I’d like to add a loungewear set to go with the hat and/or some peach colored short/pants to pair with the shirt. What do you think? I would love any suggestions you have either with a design for a new shirt or any products you’d love to see in the shop! Drop a comment below with your thoughts!

Playdates

Here you will find blog posts related to, you guessed it…playdates! There will be posts about ‘How to Host a Playdate,’ fun spots for a playdate, along with free activities you can do at your next playdate. This section will also feature products we are loving that make parenthood a little easier. This could be our favorite park accessories, products we keep in the car to help on those on the go days or our go to travel bag we take on playdates. If you have any topics you’d like to see here, drop a comment below!

Lifestyle

This category will be filled with, well, lifestyle posts. You will find posts about seasonal outfits for the kids, easy activities to keep toddlers and infants entertained, holiday hacks to make celebrating a little easier, kid friendly recipes, festive school lunch ideas, free printables, holiday decoration finds and the list goes on! I’ll be posting mostly under this category so be sure to check back.

Well that’s about it for the first blog post. If you have any blog topic requests, comment below! I’d love to hear from you.

Cheers!

Send the kids out in the yard to gather leafs or go on a neighborhood walk. Once you have enough leaves of various shapes, sizes and colors head back to the house to assemble. Start by making a face out of construction paper and googly eyes, glue the face on a clothespin and clasped your favorite leaves to the pin.

Introducing: Trader Joe’s Mac-N-Cheese in a mini crockpot 🧀

I’m making this for 15 toddlers so they don’t need much. I buy 3 of the frozen Mac-n-cheese boxes, partially heat them in a microwave (for 3min), dump in a mini crockpot and plug in the crockpot at school. That’s it! Like I said, quick and easy 🙌🏼
