Take this month’s playdate on the go to your Friendsgiving party or Thanksgiving dinner. This activity is the perfect way to kickoff a party/playdate. Of course we can’t forget the snacks! These turkey snack cups are a quick, healthy, festive appetizer for the kiddos. Who says you can’t have a playdate at a holiday party, right?
Activity
Directions
What You’ll Need:
- Plastic Bottle – you can use an empty water bottle or an empty sensory bottle like this one.
- Craft Pom Poms
- The Peach Playdate Turkey Printable – FREE download below
- Scissors
- Tape
Once you have the turkey PDF printed, cut out the body of the turkey and the feathers. Next tape the feathers to the back of the clear bottle. Once the feather’s are on the bottle tape the body of the turkey to the front of the bottle. Set out the pom poms and have the kids ‘feed’ the turkey by placing the pom poms in the bottle.
This game is geared toward smaller kids but if you have a wide age range at your playdate, you can have the older kids decorate the turkey bottles. Then have them pass it off to the smaller kids to feed and play.

Snack
All you need for this months playdate snacks are: clear plastic cups, googly eyes, red & orange paper, glue, veggie straws and veggie chips. Simply cut out triangles from the orange paper to make the beak. Then with the red paper cut out the snood (thank you Google). Glue the eyes, beak and snood to your cup and fill with the veggies sticks and serve. That’s it! These also make cute appetizers for Thanksgiving day.
