Family Outfit Ideas | Holiday Cards

November 5, 2024 · In: Lifestyle

The holidays are here! Don’t forget to book your family photos for your holiday cards! Whether its something you do yearly or every few years it’s fun to dress up in coordinating outfits. Struggling to find a vibe for your pictures? Check out our selections below.

When picking out family outfits I like to come up with a color scheme and go from there. Remember what your background will look like and try to play off that. If you are taking pictures in the snow go for a nice contrast like the black and green. You want to avoid blending in with the scenery.

Another tip to remember when picking out outfits is to avoid too much plaid. I like to have most of us in solids and one or two in a pop of color or pattern.

It’s important to note you do not have to do family photos or holiday cards every year! It is expensive and if that’s not where you want to spend your money that is perfectly fine! You should not feel bad or pressured to do them. I personally enjoy taking yearly photos so I make it a point to save up for them. Again, that’s just me and if it’s not your thing we love that too!

With that said, if you are looking to take photos and struggling to find coordinating outfits, check out some looks we put together. If you have a specific look, location, or number of family members that you are trying to style and need help comment below and we can put together a collage just for you!

Send the kids out in the yard to gather leafs or go on a neighborhood walk. Once you have enough leaves of various shapes, sizes and colors head back to the house to assemble. Start by making a face out of construction paper and googly eyes, glue the face on a clothespin and clasped your favorite leaves to the pin.

Do you see your kids classroom holiday potluck sig Do you see your kids classroom holiday potluck signup sheet and blank? Same! That’s why I do the same entree for every holiday party. It’s affordable, easy and delicious. It’s so good the teacher thought it was homemade 🫣

Introducing: Trader Joe’s Mac-N-Cheese in a mini crockpot 🧀

I’m making this for 15 toddlers so they don’t need much. I buy 3 of the frozen Mac-n-cheese boxes, partially heat them in a microwave (for 3min), dump in a mini crockpot and plug in the crockpot at school. That’s it! Like I said, quick and easy 🙌🏼
