As I was getting Aidan ready for school the other day, I was thinking about what I want to make for his St. Patrick’s Day themed lunch. I came up with a shamrock sandwich, fruit rainbow with a mini mozzarella ball cheese cloud and a Ritz cracker pot of gold. I made it today to take a picture of it and post on here in case anyone needed inspo for their kids school lunch and I just realized St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Sunday. Rad.
If the holiday doesn’t fall on a school day do you still make a festive lunch the Friday before? If you do, here’s an idea for a St. Patrick’s Day themed lunch box. I also made up some free lunch box notes to add a fun little message for your kid(s).
What I Used
It’s pretty self explanatory but if you have any questions on how to make this drop a comment below. I will say, if you don’t have a shamrock cookie cutter or it’s too big to fit in your kids lunch box you can use a mini heart cookie cutter like I did above. I used this one from Amazon. I also used this reusable cupcake holder for the Ritz crackers.
Lunch Box Notes
With the lunch box notes you can either cut out your favorite one or you can put one note in your kids lunch box every day throughout the week leading up to St. Patrick’s Day. You can also go above and beyond and write a handwritten message on the back. As for me, I will be using the most colorful note since Aidan can’t read. If I wasn’t already making these notes for this post I wouldn’t put them in his lunch. It’s better for the bigger kids but here we are.
